How does Online Math Tutoring Work?

Before each class, I will send a Google Meet/ Zoom link to the student's email address, allowing the tutor and student to connect.
Students can join the session by clicking the link or pasting it into their browser. During the session, we will work together to solve math problems using a pen tablet on the online whiteboard.
By sharing pictures of math concepts and problems through screen sharing, I will explain the concepts to help my students master them.

Which levels of teaching do you offer?

Throughout my 9+ career, I have taught students of all ages, ranging from 4th grade to high school, and University Level.

What is the frequency of tutoring sessions for my child?

Accepted Answer

The number of sessions depends on the child's grade and ability. To maximize their learning experience, we recommend two sessions per week. However, you can choose to attend one session per week if you prefer. When students need to revise for an exam, they may opt to take more classes such as 3 sessions per week, or extend the duration of the sessions.

What are the homework expectations in your classes?

Homework reinforces classroom learning and helps develop essential skills such as research, time management, study habits, focus, and self-discipline. It also provides parents with insights into what is being taught in the classroom and their children's progress.

In my classes, I assign homework based on students' grades and abilities. Students are expected to:
Complete and submit homework before the next class.
Discuss any difficulties they encounter with the homework.
Carefully write their assignments and post a scan of them to our assigned Google Classroom.

Cancellation or Rescheduling Policy

Accepted Answer

Cancellation: If you need to cancel a session, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance.
Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a session, please contact me as soon as possible to arrange a new time.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a 50% lesson fee.
No-Shows: If a student does not show up for a scheduled session without prior notice, the session will be considered completed.
